We haven't used My Plumber before, but probably will in the future. We were kept informed, as promised, when the plumber would arrive, and he actually came in the time frame quoted (between 2-9 pm). This was a minor fix for a pipe leading from the toilet tank into the main pipe, but it was done quickly. We received a 10% senior discount, but the total price was still kind of high. That seems to be the norm.

Arrived to find water in bottom of furnace due to low refrigerant charge causing evap coil to ice up. Customer not interested in leak test or cleaning of the evap coil during visit. Also return duct is dirty but customer not interested in cleaning at the time. I recommended replacement of gas furnace due to water damage but customer will consider replacement another time. Condenser coils are also dirty, contributing to the high head pressures and should be chemically cleaned. Charged system with customer permission with two lbs of R410a, system charge was 105/300, operating pressures are now 120/390 with 76 degree ambient temp. Also compressor is very loud and could be damaged from pumping liquid. System is cooling home as best as it can during visit. Temp drop (70/47)
